As an Amazon Locker+ Customer Service Associate, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team that ensures the seamless return and pickup of packages for our customers at various Locker+ retail locations. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with their orders, creating a positive experience that uplifts their day, even if just for a moment. You will work in designated retail locations, which may include Whole Foods Markets, freestanding locations, partner retailers, or even the lobby of a warehouse, making it convenient for customers to access our services. In this position, you will engage in a variety of tasks that include receiving, picking, and stowing customer orders, processing returns, and preparing items for delivery. You will also be responsible for answering customer inquiries and resolving any issues they may encounter. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace is crucial, as is managing the responsibilities associated with a Locker+ location, including opening and closing the site. You will utilize technology such as smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders, and you will be involved in receiving truck deliveries as well. Physical demands of the job include the ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods, with shifts lasting up to five hours. You will also need to navigate stairs and use various equipment like carts and hand trucks to move items. The work environment is designed to be safe and comfortable, with climate control and minimal noise levels, similar to a grocery store setting. The dress code is relaxed, but safety footwear is required in certain areas.
